Redundant Prepuce (Overhang)
These images illustrate some fairly extreme examples of overhanging foreskins. Lesser manifestations of the condition also merit treatment by circumcision. Excessively long foreskins interfere with both urination and copulation, resulting in urine, smegma and (in adulthood) semen being retained underneath the foreskin. Adequate retraction for washing purposes is very difficult when this much tissue is involved and fertility may also be affected, due to obstruction of the ejaculate.
