The BoBBi Shield



Developed in South Africa, a fresh shield is inserted into a baby boy’s diaper at each change. It serves to protect surgical wounds from faecal contamination during the healing process and is equally applicable in cases involving hypospadias repair and freehand circumcision. It remains to be seen whether the device is compatible with all types of fit-&-wear circumcision clamp.
