Other Clamps
For which CIRCLIST has Minimal Information
Winkelmann Clamp
This clamp was recently brought to our attention. The design is similar to that of the American-made Gomco clamp. The clamp is shown here in use on a Turkish boy in Germany in a physician's office. It is manufactured and distributed by the Aesculap-Company, a famous maker of surgical instruments in Germany. The clamp is available only in children's sizes, because the physicians in Germany prefer the freehand-method for adults.
PRO DEVICE
Reported as being produced in Singapore around year 2000, this clamp appears to have a screw-thread closure similar in principle to the Ismail Clamp. It is unclear whether it ever went into commercial production.

CIRCLAMP
This MAY be an attempt to produce a string-free version of the Plastibell (this piece replacing the string, the rest unchanged); the maker of the Plastibell at one point developed a disposable device reportedly called the "CIRCLAMP" although it was supposedly similar in design to the Tibone Clamp. Thus it appears likely that the name CIRCLAMP has been re-used.
There must be at least one other component involved with this device, not illustrated here. Note the overlap between the two halves of the spring-loaded clamping ring. Further details are required.

Forceps Guided-Type Clamp
This clamp was recently purchased by a CIRCLIST member. The design is similar to a standard Forceps, but this device was specifically designed for circumcisions. The name and manufacturer of the clamp are unknown.
