A true account of an American man's circumcision...
Circumcision never really enter my mind. I was uncut for the first 35 years of my life, had no problems and enjoyed a active sex life. Then I got divorced. When I started to date again I became aware that most women preferred a circumcised penis. I got a few negative comments about my status and started to wonder if I should have it done.
Then I met my future wife. She is Egyptian born in Alexandria and moved to this country when she was 14 years old. The first time we made love she expressed concern about my uncut state. She told me that not only does she prefer a circumcised partner, but as in her culture all men were circumcised I would have to get it done if we ever married.
The relationship progressed and we moved in together. She became more and more insistent about my circumcision and I promised that I would have it done. She confided in me that when she was 11 years old she had to undergo a circumcision. She told me that this was done to most girls in Egypt. She told me that one day a doctor came to the house and her mother told her that it was now time to become a woman. She was given a gown to wear and had to remove her underclothing. She was laid on a table and held in place by her mother and an aunt while the doctor removed the tip of her clitoris and the surrounding skin. She said that the pain at the time of the cutting was intense but lasted only a couple of minutes, after which it was sore for a few days. She told me that this was very common with the upper class and that many girls from lower classes had their entire clitoris removed. I was very surprised, my wife is very sensual and reaches orgasm easily, I always thought that female circumcisions reduce their sensitivity.
Well, it looked like my time was coming. We got engaged I soon after I made an appointment with a doctor. I was referred to a urologist who examined me and told that there was no medical reason for a circumcision. I informed him of the circumstances and he told me that he was not prepared to do the procedure for "cosmetic" reasons. I then started to procrastinate. Our Wedding plans were made. As my wife has a lot of relatives in Egypt we thought it would be different to get married there. Her Uncle agreed to help with the planning and a private small ceremony was arranged at his Estate. My wife suggested that since we would be in Egypt about 3 weeks before the wedding that her uncle could arrange for a doctor there to circumcise me, she was insistent that it was done before the wedding and I was running out of time to have it done at home, so I agreed and the arrangements were made.
We arrived in Alexandria and were taken to her Uncle’s estate where we were staying, a beautiful house directly on the beach. After two days my wife told me that a doctor would come to the house the next day to do the circumcision. I always thought that I would be going to a clinic and was a little taken back.
The next day after breakfast the doctor arrived. He told me that the procedure would take about 30 minutes and that he would perform the operation in our bedroom for maximum privacy. He explained in good English what to expect. I was asked to take a shower put on a gown that he had brought. After the shower my wife wished me luck and sent me to the bedroom. The doctor had set up a portable table like the ones used for massages , a hi power light mounted to a stand and a tray was set out which was covered with a cloth. I was getting quite nervous now. He told be to lay on the table and get comfortable. My legs were secured to the table with a Velcro strap and one strap was placed around my chest. The doctor told me to keep my hands either behind my head or by my sides, then the gown was pushed up and he examined my penis. The foreskin was retracted and pulled forward a few times then stretched then again retracted and pulled forward. I was starting to get a little erect which however did not last long. The doctor said that normally he leaves the frenulum intact, but as mine is a little tight he would remove it. I was then given a shot at the base of my penis which stung a little. As the area began to numb the doctor used what almost looked like a felt marker to draw lines on the foreskin. After about 5 minutes he declared that everything was ready and he would begin. My foreskin was pulled way back, I could feel the stretching of the frenulum and the first cut was made, there was no pain just pressure. I did not dare watch him carving up my penis and kept my eyes focused on the light. After some time I felt my foreskin being pushed forward again and then some more cutting. The doctor told me that he would remove my frenulum now and that this may sting a little. The pain was pretty sharp for a few seconds. Then I was being sewn up. The whole thing took close to 45 minutes. After it was all over he told me to lay on the bed and rest and that everything went just fine. He packed up his stuff and left. I now had a chance to examine my equipment. What a sight, the foreskin was all gone with a bunch of stitches about ¹ inch behind the glans . My wife came into the room with an icepack for the tortured equipment of mine.
I spent the next couple of days in bed and just relaxed. The wound burned a little but
there was little pain. The now
exposed glans was very sensitive and any clothing against
it was uncomfortable. After a week the doctor returned and removed the stitches. Another
week and it was pretty well healed, the area were the frenulum used to be was still a bit
sore but that too healed a while later. By the time the wedding come around everything was
back in "working order"
I ended up with a tight circumcision with little movement of the remaining skin. When erect it is a little uncomfortable and masturbation without Lubricant is not possible. The scar is evident and the frenulum gone. Even with so much what you would think to be as sensitive parts removed, sex is better then ever. I last a lot longer and when it comes its much more intense then before. Manipulating the bare glans is wonderful.
It has now been 3 years since I was circumcised and thanks to your web site I have learned a lot about it since. I just wish I had all the information before I was cut, then I would have made sure that the scar would have been placed even higher up and more inner lining would have been preserved. Both my wife and I are very happy with the results.
